Volunteer Program

“The mission of the Volunteer Program is to support the patients and staff of MVH & IFCH through compassionate conversations, caring acts of kindness, and making patients’ stays with us comfortable.”

Thank you for your interest in the Volunteer Program at MVH & IFCH! We strive to make our patients’ hospital visit the best it can be. In order to do that, we rely on volunteers to provide the humanistic touch that can sometimes be overlooked in a busy medical environment.

Additionally, the volunteer program raises funds for causes in the community. For example, the volunteers have donated money to the CEI Scholarship Fund for students going into the medical field.

Anyone over the age of 14 can be a volunteer. Take a look at our volunteer requirements, available volunteer positions, and submit an application today!

Our vision is to create a hospital visit that is caring, comfortable, and compassionate
